Shawlette *Alessia*

Worked as a shallow triangle using short rows, the shawl *Alessia* has a comfortable rounded form which fits snugly around your shoulders.
The main part is worked in a lacy openwork pattern with double yarn overs which make it look airy. Depending on your choice of yarn, the shawl will nevertheless keep you warm. After "using up" all stitches for the short rows, a rather narrow lace edging is worked across all stitches. Block it to the desired width. By blocking and by the contrast to the simple main pattern, the edging makes a beautiful finish.
